Abstract:
This article examines the policy making process in the growing area of government involvement in venture capital (VC) finance over the two decades of 20XX–20XX. It examines why and how public venture funds (GVCs) have evolved. The increasingly widespread mechanism of hybrid mutual investment funds, which includes both public and private venture investors, is analyzed.
