Abstract:
The article analyzes the technology fit between corporate venture capital (CVC) parent companies and CVC-backed startups. The results show that technology fit has a positive effect on the innovation input of CVC-supported startups, while it has an inverted U-shaped relationship with startup innovation outcomes.
