Abstract:
The article attempts to understand the dynamics and clarify the role of co-creation within and between participants in the Quadruple Helix (academia, government, industry and social partners). The results show a range of barriers, areas for consideration and opportunities in co-creation. It argues that scientific knowledge is best utilized when a set of guidelines or recommendations are respected and implemented by all parties involved.
