Abstract:
The aim of the study is to examine the impact of innovation on the growth of firms in different percentiles of the growth distribution in the manufacturing and service sectors in Turkey. The results show that innovation dramatically increases the likelihood of a firm becoming a high-growth firm. The results also show that, compared to services, manufacturing firms are more influenced by R&D, while innovation outcomes are more beneficial to service firms.
