Abstract:
The paper proposes a new, cautious adaptation approach for IoT SoS that adds three external components: a configurator, an observer, and an effector that implement a MAPE control loop to apply behavior adaptation. The solution is being evaluated through a proof of concept using two types of IoT device communication mechanisms, which demonstrated that our proposal helps SoS achieve its global goals.
