Abstract:
Diversifying the economy and addressing the problems of non-oil producers is a common policy goal in many resource-exporting countries. The results show that due to the very high intensity of services in oil production, an increase in oil production leads to higher prices for intermediate services and a lower volume of intermediate services purchased by non-oil producers.
