Abstract:
The article presents a stylized econometric model of demand for on-street parking with an emphasis on assessing the elasticity of demand for the full cost of parking. The results show that even when no cruise cost is observed, demand elasticity can be determined by extending the econometric model to include spatial interactions between parking lots.
