The article provides a meta-analysis of the structural relationships between human capital, the ability to generate new venture ideas, and the favorableness of perceptions of opportunities to address divergent theoretical predictions and conflicting empirical results. The results show that general and specific human capital are positively associated with the ability to generate new venture ideas.
