Abstract:
There are many guideline literature review articles, but few have presented an authoritative protocol that researchers can rely on with clarity and certainty. To commemorate the first annual special issue of systematic literature reviews in the International Journal of Consumer Research, the editors have combined their knowledge and experience in writing, editing, and peer reviewing literature reviews to develop a rigorous peer review protocol, i.e., the Scientific Procedures and Rationale for Systematic Literature Reviews (SPAR-4) protocol. -SLR) that researchers can rely on to guide and justify decisions in systematic reviews of the literature.
