Abstract:
The article aims to explore two specific aspects of body capital in the overarching context of hypermasculinity. To this end, we will focus on aesthetic pleasure as the enhanced body becomes the site of modern consumption, before looking at the instrumental utility gained from a sufficiently prepared and tuned body.
