Abstract:
Increasing household energy consumption, mainly through consumption upgrades, will pose significant challenges for China if the country is to achieve carbon peaking in 2030 and carbon neutrality in 2060. The results show that convergence clubs exist in all QoL groups according to RHKP, but they are more pronounced in groups with below average and low QoL.
Keywords:
consumption upgrading; distribution dynamics; energy consumption; regional disparity
