Abstract:
The article explores the contextual version of neoliberalism, which the authors call postcolonial neoliberalism. The results show that postcolonial neoliberalism was inspired by a hybrid form of managerial control, including colonial control of actions, postcolonial cultural control, and neoliberal control of outcomes. This created a free space for the female workers to confront and reach some compromises.

Cultural hybridity; Emancipation; Management controls; Neoliberalism; Postcolonial feminism; Postcolonial neoliberalism
