Abstract:
This article provides an introduction to the themes and objectives of this special edition of Accounting, Auditing and Accountability (AAAJ) and comments on the documents included in this edition. The results show that management accounting is currently expanding into new territories outside of its usual disciplinary confinements of confinement, reconfiguring its functionality to incorporate and operationalize a circulating regime of neoliberal government.
