Abstract:
The article compared farm-level yield results with fine-grid weather data to create a panel of sorghum growers . The results show that sorghum is highly sensitive to warming, as a moderate 2 ° C increase in growing season temperature reduces yields by an average of 24%, raising doubts about its ability to compensate for the effects of climate change compared to other crops.
