Abstract:
The article tested the theory of legislative production in South Korea (1948–20XX). The results show that the barrier model, assessed both on the basis of parliamentary proposal laws and government assignments, provides empirical support for both hypotheses, notably that the PLC in Korea manifests itself in an uptrend rather than pre-election peaks.
Keywords:
democratization; legislation; parliamentary proposals
