Abstract:
The article examines the joint influence of the two formal institutions at the country level, the effectiveness of government and political freedom, and whether the informal institution of religiosity softens these relationships. Data cover 85 countries from 20XX to 20XX. The results show that the level of entrepreneurial activity in different countries is determined by the interaction between formal and informal institutions.
