Abstract:
The article examines the dynamics of deindustrialization in developed countries in the period 1970–2020, examines the models and factors underlying the growth of employment in the manufacturing industry in 12 developed countries. The results show that deindustrialization is a sustainable pattern that has undergone significant structural changes since 1990, when the acceleration of globalization with increased North-South trade appears to have had a significant impact.
