Abstract:
The article analyzes the Pazinettis theorem. Also overrated is the fragile start of the theorem, often referred to as the new Cambridge equation; in which Pasinetti was endorsed by Kaldor and J. Robinson at the 1966 Economic Research Review Symposium against James Mead, Paul Samuelson, and Franco Modigliani, who formulated their Anti-Pasinetti or Dual Theorem. The results show that Frank Hahn was instrumental in siding with Mead and the economists at MIT.
