Abstract:
The article proposes an improved scanning method for tracking a global maximum power point (GMPP) with good tracking speed. The goal of this method is to shorten response times by limiting the search interval for scan points in the scan method, making GMPP tracking fast and efficient under PSC conditions. The results show that the proposed method effectively tracks GMPP at various PSCs and has excellent response time (1.4 s) and efficiency (99.50%) performance, which improves the efficiency and response time of the photovoltaic system by 0.55 s. and 0.4%, respectively, compared with the scanning method.
