Abstract:
The article analyzed the short, medium and long term effects of high school correctional courses using a regression gap plan. While the short-term benefits of taking high school English test courses are rapidly disappearing, the results show that there is a significant positive impact on the likelihood of taking college credit-earning high school courses, college enrollment, enrollment in more selective colleges, persistence in college and attaining a degree.
