Abstract:
The article analyzes the impact of monetary compensation on patient isolation during a pandemic. The methodology is based on literature review and semi-structured interviews. Fourteen sets of options with two scenarios were included in an online questionnaire that was posted to the social network Telegram. For the main analysis, a random effects logistic regression model was used. The results show that financial preferences for isolation differ greatly among individuals in different socioeconomic groups.
