Abstract:
The article analyzes the financial models of the West and China in the context of the post-Soviet energy sector. The results show that a double transformation is taking place. The World Bank and EBRD are currently working closely with key local stakeholders in recipient countries to make energy reforms more successful. China, on the other hand, is now working more closely with Western ICBMs, adopting and implementing some of their market principles and environmental goals.
