Abstract:
The article analyzes the role of maritime connectivity in the conduct of maritime trade. The methodology is based on the Stochastic Multi-Criteria Acceptance Analysis (SMAA) method. This takes into account the variability of the weights assigned to the connectivity factors, thus creating a probability rating for each country (that is, the probability of reaching a certain rank). The results show that China reaches the highest level of connectivity, followed by Singapore.
