Abstract:
The article analyzes a model of Russias modernization based on surveillance capitalism. The research is conducted on the basis of Sberbank. The results show that Sberbank competes with the state and even de facto performs state functions. His pursuit of profit and influence leads not only to an ever-growing collection of data that is used to change human behavior, leaving an ever-shrinking space for individual action and even politics, but also a new model of governance.
