Abstract:
The article examines the competitiveness of firms in terms of strategic management and operation. The study is based on responses to a survey of 113 companies collected as part of an ongoing research project focused on the competitiveness of Hungarian industry. The results show a positive effect of dynamic manufacturing capabilities on firms perceived competitiveness, but did not find a significant relationship between conventional manufacturing capabilities and firm-level competitiveness.
