Abstract:
The article explores the effect of postponement on logistics flexibility as well as retail efficiency. In addition, the regulatory roles of logistic integration and the uncertainty of demand in these relationships are explored. The methodology is based on a survey. The experiment involved 261 retailers in Sweden. The results show that with moderate levels of uncertainty, the positive relationship between delay and flexibility in logistics, and flexibility in logistics and manufacturing company, is enhanced.
