Abstract:
The article analyzes the concepts of complementarity, pluralism and the school of thought. The results show that school complementarity is related to scientific goals, which implies that discussing the complementarity of schools of economic thought requires a discussion of the goals of economic research. The study also separated weak from strong complementarities and showed that some of the perceived complementarities between schools are weak and thus have little support for CAP.

Complementarity; pluralism; schools of thought
