Abstract:
The article analyzes the possibilities of expanding legal regulation in the field of nuclear energy. The research methodology is based on the method of political and legal analysis, with the help of which modern international initiatives in the legal regulation of nuclear energy are analyzed. The results show that the expansion of legal regulation of nuclear energy at the EU and CIS level will be carried out mainly through soft law laws, as well as bilateral treaties concerning the technical aspects of nuclear infrastructure facilities. The practical application of the results is explained by the possibility of their use by representatives of public international, private international law and law in the field of energy, as well as when studying the possibilities of expanding legal regulation in the field of nuclear energy.
