Abstract:
The article analyzes the problem of institutional investments in forest lands. Based on examination of corporate reports and interviews with key stakeholders, motivation, synergies, corporate strategy, competition, funding structure, organizational structure, as well as the widespread impact of ownership transfer were identified. It also compares the profitability of forest investment management organizations and real estate investment funds, and provides a forecast for future research on forest investment.
