Abstract:
The use of modular structures in the modern world is very popular, and the interest of builders, as well as end users of this type of structures is constantly increasing, so they must comply with all regulations. The use of BIM greatly simplifies the construction control process, but there is always the possibility of human error. To avoid this, automatic BIM rule checking has been developed. It improves the quality of the construction to meet all requirements. In this paper, a single-story modular building has been modeled, and the integration of an automated process for evaluating modular construction system has been evaluated using it as an example. The use of this technique has been found to speed up the design process, as well as assist in the layout and zoning of the facility. For the first time, norms were added to the rulebook regarding COVID-19 quarantine regulations. It is shown that although the work spaces can accommodate 8 people, the need for social distancing is reduced to 5. Thus, the designed model can be successfully used for implementation in the construction field.
