Abstract:
Nursing care includes holistic components such as the psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and developmental aspects of care. These learning needs are generally met in the traditional clinical environment, but not in the simulated ones. This paper outlines numerous holistic patient care concepts, simulated patient and family responses, props, and moulage that are low-cost and easily implemented in the simulated environment.
