Abstract:
This study reports on a novel approach for teaching Unit Operations topics in a Chemistry degree, combining the use of Mathcad and the jigsaw cooperative learning technique. We aimed to determine the acceptability of using the jigsaw technique in conjunction with Mathcad by assessing student team performance.
