Abstract:
The article addresses the feminist adage that the personal is political by critically examining my experience as an aspiring researcher in gender and entrepreneurship studies to offer a vital context for contributing to my work and future research agenda in light of the current historical moment of intertwined political, sanitary and environmental disasters. The results show that racism acts as a permanent distraction from the overall agenda of research and activities and limits the scope of intended contributions.
