Abstract:
This study aims to test a hypothesis, which holds that emotional schemas (individualized conceptualizations and beliefs about emotions) play a key role in guiding emotional processes. To assess the validity of this suggestion, we performed a correlation analysis of behavioural, performance-based, and self-report data on maladaptive emotional schemas and emotional functioning.
