Abstract:
We study the effects of bisphosphonate (BP) therapy on the survival rate of osteoporosis patients after acute coronary syndrome (ACS). The review of hospitalization cases revealed a considerable risk of atrial fibrillation associated with bisphosphonate use. However, complience with the BP therapy brings positive health outcomes, such as lower risk of
fracture.
