Abstract:
In this manuscript we present a green ink formulation for inkjet-printed and blade coated highly conductive PEDOT:PSS thin film. By the addition of a biodegradable surfactant we reduced the surface tension of a water-based PEDOT:PSS formulation enabling the deposition of high quality layers. Finally, we demonstrate the use of inkjet printed PEDOT:PSS films on the basis of these formulation as bottom transparent electrode of organic light-emitting diodes deposited on a biodegradable cellulose acetate (CA) substrate. Our devices outperformed a reference fabricated with a commercially available low-ST PEDOT:PSS that includes unknown additives.
