Abstract:
The article analyzes the level of influence of retirement on the consumption of medical services, in particular, breast cancer screening. The methodology is based on an analysis of data from Eurobarometer surveys conducted between 1996 and 20XX in 25 different European countries. The results show that retirement reduces the need for mammography and other secondary preventive care.
