Abstract:
The article examines the indicators of economic growth and happiness of the Chinese using Bayesian layered analysis based on the age-period-cohort structure. The study used 8 waves of China General Social Survey (CGSS) data between 20XX - 20XX. The results show that the happiness scores of Chinese people change over the course of their lives across generations. Based on this, a generational model was identified based on stories of historical events that affect the happiness indicators of the Chinese.
