Abstract:
Contemporary Chinese music is influenced by a variety of musical genres and social factors. The aim of this study is to determine the significance of contemporary Chinese classical and Taoist music in the philosophy of modern art. Within the framework of the conducted research, it was determined that classical music primarily has the capacity to convey emotions of happiness (0.31), while Taoist music evokes a sense of tranquility (0.27). These findings are linked to the distinctive combinations of sounds and their expressive orientations. The hierarchy analysis method made it possible to determine the most significant classical and Taoist music criteria in modern Chinese culture. The most important indicators are the transmission of cultural traditions (0.428) and the aesthetic component (0.148). Taoist music plays a significant role in preserving the purity of musical art (0.408). It has been determined that the greatest influence of Chinese classical music on contemporary musical creativity is associated with its ability to ensure the aesthetic expression of musical compositions (0.31). In educational contexts, this influence pertains to the ability to perceive the principles of combining musical sounds (0.33), which impacts the proper construction of approaches to performing various musical works. In contemporary musical creativity, Taoist music contributes to the transmission of traditional musical forms in modern art (0.32). In educational settings, it facilitates the study of principles governing the natural execution of melodies. The data obtained contributed to the development of recommendations to increase the interest of society in classical and Taoist music, which involved its popularization by various methods. The results obtained are of scientific value for teachers and culture researchers who study the significance of classical and Taoist music based on practical data.
