Abstract:
The purpose of the work is to study the effectiveness of remote sensing methods in the taxation assessment of the state of the forest. We studied the forest taxation characteristics (crown height, trunk cross-section, canopy closeness) by using remote laser sensing methods during planned overflights of the territory on an AN-2 aircraft equipped with the necessary equipment. As a result, by combining remote sensing data and data. obtained on the ground, a general digital map of all forest plantations on the territory of the test site was compiled, which displays their current composition and condition. Combining digital regional maps into a single whole will help to more accurately establish the state of forest plantations in large areas, to identify general trends and patterns, but provided these maps are compiled according to a single standard.
