Abstract:
The aim of this work is to develop methods for detecting and suppressing higher harmonics of current in consumer networks using mathematical transformations and machine learning. Using the methods (discrete Fourier transform, discrete wavelet transform), a technique for detecting and identifying harmonic disturbances in the signal was developed. It is shown that with the use of a discrete wavelet transform and its decomposition into levels, it is possible to obtain detailed information about the signal and localize the place of occurrence of the violation. Using algorithms of artificial neural networks, classifiers of harmonics and types of violations in electrical signals have been developed. According to the analysis of the results obtained, it is shown that the combined method of discrete wavelet transform and neural network demonstrates high accuracy (99%) for compiling a nonlinear load profile.
