Abstract:
The article explores the impact of economic diversity on innovation, productivity and the labor market. A structured framework is used in which the spatial scale of the analysis in the articles is used as a reference to understand the inconsistency of some of the previous projections and the different magnitudes of the impact of diversity. Empirical results agree more significantly when the effects of diversity are discretely documented at regional, corporate and individual levels.
